I’m Lisdye (pronounced Liz-dee) Garcia-Gonzalez. I am originally from Tucson, Arizona, but a study abroad program at Sciences Po and a childhood dream first led me to life in Paris in autumn 2014. After an unexpected series of events, my Masters program at the University of Arizona brought me back to the Ville Lumière for a second exchange at Université de Paris Diderot (Paris 7), where I was exchange lectrice d’anglais and part-time graduate student for the 2016-2017 academic year. In August 2018, I made my way back to France after finishing my Masters in French. This time, instead of moving back to the la Ville Lumière, I moved to Lyon, la Ville des Lumières. Here, you’ll find all of my fun little stories about my little life in France.
